Traditional traditions and uses are disappearing around the world due to globalization. From our position as educators we try to help stop this incredible loss of knowledge and culture through the value of craftsmanship as a model of sustainable development and circular economy.
Join us in this course designed to acquire new skills in this dynamic artistic discipline. During the course we will learn about traditional techniques such as the elaboration of Iberian ceramics, decoration of Granaline tile or dry rope. In addition, we will have the opportunity to manufacture our own utility cup, practice our style on the potter’s lathe and learn about the artisans and their surroundings in a craft center in the Albayzin, historic center of Granada. The course is taught by our expert craftsman with more than 20 years of experience as a ceramicist.
